Janine Aquino, proprietor of Camelot Cellars, was raised in the Hudson Valley area of New York and is a fourth generation wine professional. Her family owned John Aquino Sons, Inc., an Italian wine importing company in Manhattan. She grew up on a vineyard, worked at several Hudson Valley wineries excelling in bringing local wines into local restaurants, studied food and wine pairings at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and did all her college work on wines, wine making and the workings of a boutique winery. She has made wine from grapes, raspberries and strawberries. She is self taught on how to appraise wine collections and help people sell and add to their ongoing wine collections. She also provides many services to wineries, restaurants, cooking schools and individual collectors. She owns Camelot Cellars Winery, an urban boutique Winery locatedĀ in the Short North District of Columbus, OH. She sits on the board of Edible Columbus magazine and several committees for the Columbus Food and Wine Affair. She is a member of Wedding Professionals of Columbus and National Association of Catering Executives.
